Project name
Killeen National School Extension – sensory room equipment
Location
Killeen, Louisburgh
Details
Killeen National School has embarked on an ambitious and exciting school extension program. Importantly, the school under the leadership of Principal, Brid Grady and the school management team, is making special provision for multi-disabilities class through the provision of care equipment and general resources for this school community.
It is extremely important that education is fully inclusive for a school community and Killeen National School deserves support for its work with children living with disabilities. Killeen has a limited population that is working extremely hard to fund the school extension, and is now reaching out to the Mayo diaspora for support.
