Ronan Fitzgerald is a native of Castlebar. He has worked in marketing and communications since 2007, specializing in digital channels. Ronan arrived in New York in 2017 after ten years in the UK, where he worked across a range of industries including non-profits. He describes himself as a data-driven, audience-focused professional, and he is excited to bring that approach to the objectives of the County Mayo Foundation.

Corina Galvin

Corina Galvin is originally from Belcarra in County Mayo but moved to New York City in 1995 after graduating from AIT (fka Athlone RTC). Corina is a senior meeting and event planner at America Express Global Business Travel and has been working in the M&E industry for over 20 years. Prior to joining GBT, she worked in the financial, pharmaceutical, and entertainment industries mostly recently with Viacom where she worked on large award shows such as the VMAs, EMAs, and the Nickelodeon KCAs.  

She is on the Executive Board of the New York Irish Center in Queens, New York, and is a founding board member of the Manhattan Gaels GAA Club where she handles social media for both. She is also a talent manager and social media coordinator for Sunnyside Sessions, an online program that showcases the very best talent passing through New York.

Corina is very excited to be involved in the Country Mayo Foundation and serve on the communications committee.

John Kearns

John Kearns is the author of the short-story collection Dreams and Dull Realities and the novel The World and playwright of dramas including Sons of Molly Maguire (produced at Dublin’s Liberty Hall in May 2017) and In the Wilderness. His novel-in-progress, Worlds, was a finalist in the 2002 New Century Writers’ Awards. John’s poems have appeared in such journals as the North American Review and the Grey Sparrow Journal. His fiction has appeared in The Medulla Review and Danse Macabre. John is the treasurer and salon producer for Irish American Writers and Artists. He has a Master’s Degree in Irish literature from the Catholic University of America. His paternal grandparents both came from near Knock in County Mayo, and John still has many cousins in the area. John works as a technical writer for Major League Baseball Advanced Media.

Jennifer Rose Mullin is a freelance editor and writer who has worked for companies including MLB Advanced Media, McGraw-Hill, and Disney Publishing.

She can usually be found traversing the streets with a camera in her hands, enjoying a picnic in Central Park, recycling/upcycling/composting, and crafting vegetarian meals and tasting wine and planning her next adventure for her blog, The Fiery Redhead.

Her paternal roots lie in Aghamore, County Mayo, along with her heart.

She is thrilled to be a part of the County Mayo Foundation and to be able to give back to the country that gave her breath.

Originally from Louisburgh, Seamus moved to New York City in 2015. Having graduated from NUI Galway with an MSC in mechanical engineering and from University College Dublin with an MBA in business management, Seamus works sales and marketing on Wall Street in Manhattan. 

With a keen interest in health and wellness, Seamus is also a qualified international fitness coach, and in his spare time he loves to get outdoors and be active. 

Seamus is a member of the INNY, IBO, and IBN groups within the city and is looking forward to helping develop the County Mayo Foundation in assisting deserving organizations in his home county.
